My name is Matthew Conroy. I am a graduate of the Wolcott High School Class of 2017, as well as a graduate and alumni of Naugatuck Valley Community College, and a student at Charter Oak State College.

From 2017-2020, I was a student of NVCC's DAT Department, working towards an Associate's Degree in Video & Audio Production. I loved Digital Arts the moment I first started working on Photoshop. Ever since then, I knew that Digital Arts was going to be a big part of my life. Studying in Digital Arts encouraged me to create something special and unique and then having the opportunity to share it with others. In addition, I also took classes to work towards a Communications Studies Associate's Degree.

During my last year, as a DAT Student, I began to shift my focus from Digital Arts to English. With English, I am a skilled and proficient writer, allowing me to bring my creative perspective of life on paper. Having these skills landed me a job as an English tutor at the Academic Center for Excellence at NVCC, and as a SPED Paraprofessional in the Wolcott Public Schools District.

In addition, from 2020-2022, I went back to NVCC to work towards an Associate's Degree in English Studies. In the Spring of 2023, I am continuing my studies to work towards a Bachelor's Degree in English at Charter Oak State College. Outside of work and school, my hobbies include playing video games, and hanging out with friends and family. One philosophy that I live by in life is that 'The best way to make someone happy is to touch their heart'. Through the MattDog Visual Services, I hope that I can be beneficial and useful in helping my community.
